We have spent generations waiting on someone to make us whole. 65Black is the decision to stop waiting and pour sixty-five minutes a day back into our own people—our bodies, minds, businesses, families, and God.

God

Talk to your God — 10 minutes

Prayer, meditation, silence—whatever you call it. Start here and reconnect with your source.

Self

Strength — the walk, 45 minutes

Walk, lift, run, or hoop. Move at your own pace and give your body protected time.

Mind — learn for 10 minutes

Put something in your ears that grows you: a Black author, our history, money, or love.

Body — fuel

Make one choice today that lowers your risk. Add the vegetables. Drop the soda. Cook instead of ordering.

Heart — one step toward your dream

One email. One page. One call. One dollar saved. Do one thing that moves your future closer.

Neighbor

Tell one Black person you love them

Say it clearly. Let love move from something you feel into something your people can receive.

Support a Black business

Direct money, attention, a review, a referral, or an introduction toward a Black business.

Talk to your God

This is first because it is the foundation for everything under it. Hard things require a source of strength beyond willpower and approval.

Strength — the walk

Your body deserves protected time. Walk, lift, run, or hoop for 45 minutes, separate from your time with God and learning.

Mind — learn

Ten minutes a day across the full walk adds up to nearly eleven hours invested in history, money, love, and ideas that help you grow.

About 12% of Black adults have been diagnosed with diabetes, compared with about 7% of white adults. One better choice keeps nourishment practical instead of demanding perfection.

Survival can crowd out the future. A daily step turns self-love into action and confidence into the residue of promises kept to yourself.

Black life is too often discussed through crisis instead of care. Sixty-five days means sixty-five people receive love out loud.

Spending power is money moving through us, not wealth held by us. Intentional support helps direct money and attention toward Black businesses; non-money support counts when money is tight.

How it works

We are the reparation

Love as a practice,

not only a feeling.

We are not asking anyone to heal us.

We are the healing.

This is not a race, a leaderboard, or a test you can fail. It is a daily practice built around God, yourself, and your neighbor—in that order.

10 minutes with God.

10 minutes learning.

45 minutes working out.

65 minutes total.

This 65-minute daily block is where the name 65Black comes from. Three separate sessions, with a simple timer to record each one.

The seven practices

Seven practices.

Three loves. One walk.

Love God. Love yourself. Love your neighbor. The order matters.

Why these practices

The current conditions are not a verdict on us.

Heart health, diabetes, violence, household wealth, and business ownership do not exist in isolation. They sit inside a documented history of interrupted ownership, unequal access, and pressure on Black families and neighborhoods.

The record is not a record of failure. Black communities built homes, land, businesses, families, and institutions again and again. The record shows what repeatedly happened to what got built.

65Black is not a substitute for justice or policy. It is the part we control: love practiced daily and poured into what we intend to keep.

10 minutes

Yourself

45 minutes

One better choice

One action

Say it — tell one Black person you love them

Once today

Feed your people — support a Black business

Money or attention

Love is the practice.

Sixty-five minutes a day. Sixty-five days. Love God, love yourself, love your neighbor—in that order, on purpose, out loud, together.

The order of love

The order is not a suggestion.

It's the architecture.

Love God with everything you have—your heart, your soul, your mind, your strength. Then love your neighbor as yourself.

Read that last part again.

As yourself.

You cannot pour into your neighbor from an empty cup.

First God.

Because the way you see yourself has to come from somewhere higher than what this country has told you.

Then yourself.

Because you cannot give what you do not have.

Then your neighbor.

Because that's what all of it was for.

Seven daily practices

Three loves.

One walk.

The math

This 65-minute daily block is where the name 65Black comes from. Give each session its own time: connect with God, learn something that grows you, and move your body. On Today, choose a session and start its timer. Pause when you need to; return to pick up where you left off that day. Your time is saved to your account.

Why 65

A daily commitment. A longer view.

65 minutes.

The name begins with your daily block: 10 minutes with God, 10 minutes learning, and 45 minutes working out.

The year the last of us learned we were free.

The world our great-grandchildren inherit, built out of what we decide right now.

Habit.

University College London research found a median of about 66 days for a new behavior to become automatic. 65 is about how long it takes.

Day 65

Your receipt.

At the end, we show you what you actually did.

Not a score. Not a grade. A receipt.

No percentage, missed-day count, or ranking. Someone who logs 12 days still gets a real receipt. Most of us have never seen our own love added up. You will.

What it costs

Nothing.

65Black is free. Money being tight excludes no one. When a practice involves supporting a Black business, a review, referral, post, or introduction counts too. Attention is currency.

Why this is needed

The gap is not a mystery or a verdict on us.

It is the result of documented laws and programs that repeatedly interrupted Black ownership at the moment it could compound. 65Black is not a substitute for justice. It is the part we control.

Who this is for

Built for the healing of Black communities.

That is the point of it

, and we are not going to soften that.

It is also not closed to anyone. If these seven practices speak to you and you want to walk the 65 days alongside us, you are welcome. The work is the same.

65Black is an education and community program. It is not medical advice and does not replace your doctor.
